Hagerup & Tveit
The collaboration between Atle Tveit and Allan Hagerup brings together two established perspectives in Norwegian design. Atle is a graduate of the Bergen Academy of Art and Design, while Allan graduated from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts with a master’s degree in furniture design. Both are award-winning designers who share a focus on furniture and spatial design.
Their partnership is built on an intuitive approach where they build on each other's ideas to create something tangible and concrete. Their shared philosophy focuses on simplifying and removing unnecessary noise, ensuring that every product has a distinct identity and a unique character. This collaborative process involves numerous iterations to refine a precise motif, as seen in the Fall throw blanket for Northern. By combining their strengths, Tveit & Hagerup create products that balance organic inspiration with functional, modern clarity.
