Modern minimalism meets time-honoured weaving craftsmanship in the thoughtfully crafted Vev chair.

Its simple steel frame uses minimal material while cradling 110 meters of hand-woven paper rope for a natural look and outstanding comfort.

 

Named after the Norwegian word for “weave,” Vev blends tradition with modern needs: a strong silhouette, small footprint, and easy mobility.

Both the side chair and armchair are stackable and lightweight, making them perfect for tight homes, lively cafés, or modern office spaces.

Offered in two finishes (matte black base with deep brown rope or warm grey-beige base with natural rope), Vev features a recognizable silhouette and strong character, seamlessly fitting into private and public spaces alike

  • Seat and backrest material: Natural paper rope
  • Body colours: Grey-beige or black
  • Seat and backrest colours: Light rope for grey-beige body, brown rope for black body

  • 20 mm steel tubing, 1.5 mm thickness
  • Powder-coated body with textured UV paint
  • Supports up to 200 kg (will be EN tested)
  • 2 cm wide flat metal bar under seat for added strength and stability
