Two new colourways
Birdy Floor, Birger Dahl's 1952 design, is now available in two new colourways. Both are paired with brass finish details for a warmer, more decorative feel, and sit particularly well against warm woods, natural materials and muted interiors.
A design by Birger Dahl
Birdy was designed by Birger Dahl in 1952. Two years later, the design won a Golden Medal at the Milan Triennale, one of the earliest international honours for Norwegian lighting. Dahl went on to shape some of Norway's most recognisable buildings and interiors, from Oslo City Hall to the Storting, while insisting that good design belonged in the everyday home just as much as in the corridors of power.
